NATO GREEN’S COMEDY ALBUM OUT JANUARY 26, 2018 on BLONDE MEDICINE

Nato Green, the country’s only semi-functional hybrid of comedian and union organizer who is currently on sabbatical in Cuba from San Francisco where he is a well known voice in comedy and politics. Blonde Medicine is proud to announce his January 26 comedy album release, The Whiteness Album, which will be available wherever comedy albums are enjoyed or purchased. Nato Green was summed up more or less accurately by The East Bay Express as, “erudite and acerbic, a San Francisco-raised father, union organizer, gastronome, bibliophile, and political sparkplug.” His first comedy album, The Nato Green Party, was released by Rooftop Comedy. Nato has been named San Francisco’s Best Comedian by the SF Weekly, Huffington Post, SFist, and CBS.
Nato is the creator of Iron Comic, the Iron Chef-spoofing comedy game show. Nato has a regular column in the San Francisco Examiner, and his humor commentaries have appeared in VICE, Truthdig, Huffington Post, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, The Rumpus, and The Bold Italic. He also hosts FSFSF, a short spotlight on Bay Area comedy that airs every Tuesday during NPR’s All Things Considered on 91.7FM KALW.
Nato wrote for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX and toured nationally with W. Kamau Bell & Janine Brito as Laughter Against the Machine.
Blonde Medicine is a record label and production company based out of Petaluma, California in the SF Bay Area. Owner and Founder Dominic Del Bene spent his 20s producing and releasing rap records and his 30s producing and releasing stand-up comedy albums, specials and live events.  Geoff Tate’s People Are What People Make ‘Em is Blonde Medicine’s first release. 2018 will see other projects from Nato Green, Brian Babylon, Nore Davis, Ian Abramson and Zach Sherwin and more.
