The definition of a Fangirl is: A fan, especially one who is obsessive about comics, film, music, or science fiction (noun) or to behave in an obsessive or overexcited way (verb). This is ultimately why the Fangirl Zone was created. Shawn had an extreme fangirl moment when meeting with a certain celeb at a convention. She never thought she would be “one of those over the top fans” but alas, when it came down to actually meeting said celeb, she  had an overexcited (and really embarrassing) moment. She realized that she was not alone in her obsession with shows, books, movies and cons and was able to sway some friends into joining her in discussions on The Fangirl Zone Podcast.
